Busch has a slim lead in the standings through two races, sitting ahead of Byron and Austin Cindric by a single point. Bubba Wallace, with two top-five finishes to open the season, is three points back and Blaney is eight points behind.
Jimmie Johnson won a record four times in the Las Vegas spring race, adding the 2010 checkered flag to his run of three straight victories from 2005-07. Matt Kenseth won three times. Among active drivers, Brad Keselowski (2014, 2016) and Joey Logano (2019-20) are two-time winners.
